In the heart of Persiceto lies Pettazzoni Park, which is home to the "Peter Pan” play area, recently refurbished with new play equipment made from non-degradable materials, suitable for children aged 0 to 8, including an inclusive play structure. It is open from 8.30 am to 8.00 pm.
Within Pettazzoni Park stands the Monument to those deported to Nazi extermination camps, designed by Mario Martinelli from Persiceto and erected in 1972. The monument consists of a ground-level basin with a fountain, at the centre of which stands a stele in memory of those deported to Nazi extermination camps during the Second World War. Among the benches in the park, one stands out for its red colour, symbolising the awareness campaign against gender-based violence.
